This journal documents the thoughts and experiences of the characters involved in the Gundam RP story line of codename_pillow and thelastsong. It currently takes place in UC 0085.

A lot of canon storyline-skewering has taken place. At the moment, a spacenoid rebel army known as the United Legion has declared war on the Earth Federation, intent on using any means necessary to achieve the goal of spacenoid independence. Several attacks have been staged, including two against the Pegasus- class assault carrier Iysos, where the characters were formerly stationed, a commando raid against Luna Base, an attack on the Anaheim Electronics ship, the La Vie En Rose, and two horrific nuclear assaults: one against Side 6, which killed close to 100 million people, and one against Konpei Island, which destroyed countless Federation and Legion ships and Mobile Suits, along with the Iysos. After the attacks, left with the prospect of being split apart, both the First Squad and the Yellow Team joined the Anti-Earth Union Group, a newly formed organization against the Titans. After a horrible slaughter of three million innocent civilians at Side 1 30 Bunch colony, supposedly by the Titans, the AEUG has begun mobilizing to deal once and for all with the threat of the anti-spacenoid organization. The need for the Titans' elimination grew with the discovery that the United Legion was nothing more than a front for the Titans to gain more control over the Earth and colonies...

Commander Cyan Greene - A talented MS pilot and strong Newtype, he is also friendly and caring, if a bit unsure of himself at times. Recently recovered from being forced to kill his traitorous fiancee a year before, thanks to a new love interest in one Christina Adler. In the wake of the revelation of Atell's spying and the sinking of the Iysos, both the EFSF and the Titans began to suspect him of treason himself, becoming the partial cause of his resignation from the Federal Forces, and for him leading the remnants of his team and the Yellows in defecting to the Anti-Earth Union Group.

Chief Warrant Officer Hikaru Tomeii - Once known as "The Black Crash", one of the highest-ranking ace pilots of the One Year War. After being left limbless and burnt to a crisp after her Mobile Suit was destroyed, her brain was transferred to an experimental cyborg body, giving her speed and strength far exceeding normal human beings. Having returned to the Argama with an experimental Core Fighter, she now faces the task of helping the one she loves most regain her sanity.

Radioman First Class Karen Snow - One of the few surviving Mobile Suit pilots of the Side 6 nuclear massacre, the formerly lively, friendly pilot joined the team an emotional wreck, angry at both the Legion and the Titans for the roles they played in the disaster. She has started to recover after getting to know her new team, even more so now that she has defected with her team.

Captain Quattro Bageena - Only the defected teams, Jamie, and Farrah know Quattro for who he really is: the much-feared Zeon ace Char Aznable, aka "The Red Comet". Having joined the AEUG after a self-imposed exile to Axis, he now spends much of his time recruiting new members for the fledgling organization and constructing plans to hurt the Titans. However, this combined with his arrogant and insensitive nature tend to be harmful to people he knows, none moreso than Jamie, who tired of his seeming disinterest and left him. Also, he really, really, really hates Johnny.

Specialist First Class Kyle Frost - A bit of an anomoly aboard the Argama, Frost acts as an independent agent (read:assassin) for the AEUG , only taking orders from Brex Folla himself. Very polite, thoughtful, and considerate, he once used this as a mask for his true feelings, but a burger-loving pilot is now helping him get past all of that.

Subject Number Zero - A strange Newtype boy found aboard the Titan ship Bosnia after psychically requesting asylum. Experimented on since birth by the Murasame Institute, they "constructed" his brain to become a biological weapon, giving him the ability to kill others with his Newtype powers. This also enhanced his empathy, ESP, and telepathy greatly. However, the experimentation has left him physically dehabilitated, almost to the point of being crippled.

Lieutenant Aphra Greene - A Zeon officer who joined the AEUG after being rescued from a Titan prison, she is also Cyan's fraternal twin. Killed during a battle with the Titans.

Mobile Suit Ordnanceman Apprentice Brendan McCreary - A recruit fresh out of training. Died at the battle at Konpei Island.

Electronics Technician Second Class Scott Revell - United Legion spy, masquerading as a Mobile Suit pilot. Commited suicide at Luna Base rather than be captured during a failed escape.

Ensign Chase Atell - Revell's accomplice, posing as the Iysos's head store keeper. Also commited suicide over being captured.

Rear Admiral Reginald Jamison - Commanding officer of the Iysos. Lost with the crew of his ship at Konpei Island.



thelastsong's Characters

Lieutenant Commander Ariel Shay - A former Federation pilot who joined the Titans after Operation Stardust killed her family. Almost destroyed by her own angst, she turned her life around. Was once the temporary leader of the First Squadron, before she rejoined her team, the Yellows, which were called to help defend the Iysos. After the ship was sunk, and her team split up, she and the others left for the Argama, a ship belonging to the AEUG, where she can be found eating hamburgers in the lounge and hanging out with Frost.

Lieutenant Junior Grade Mara Romano - A damaged young Newtype girl who recently graduated from the EFF Academy. Already, she has seen the effects of war for herself on several occasions, not the least of which being that she bore witnessing the death of her family in the Side 6 nuclear attack, the invasion of Luna Base, and the Konpei Island massacre. After joining the AEUG with the rest of her team, the horrific revelation that the Titans were responsible for the creation of the United Legion led her to a psychotic breakdown. Believing that she has nothing to live for but the destruction of her enemies, her once soft heart feels little besides hatred and her aspirations have been tainted with a strong lust for revenge.

Captain Johnny Ridden - Commander of the ex-Yellow Team. Once one of the great Aces of the Zeon Army, Johnny was captured by the Federation near the end of the OYW while attempting to defend his wingman. Since then, he has grown bitter and apathetic towards the plight of spacenoids. While this lead to his decision to become a Titan, it has not caused him to become cruel and cold-hearted like most others of his rank and influence in the elite force. After discovering the true colors of the Titans, however, he and his team decided to join the First Squadron in leaving for the AEUG, where he met up with some old familiar faces... one of whom he wants to kill. Badly.

Captain Jamie Singleton is a troubled Newtype woman, currently an AEUG member after being Ridden's wingman in the Zeon Army in the OYW and then a Mobile Suit piloting instructor for the EFF. She finally got fed up with being second to Char's goals and ambitions, so she left him.

Lieutenant Commander Christina Adler was formerly an EFF test pilot for the Gundam RX-78 NT-1, but left the EFF for Anaheim Electronics after the OYW came to a close. A workholic, Chris is a brilliant MS designer and the object of affection for many a lonely engineer and mechanic. Speaking of lonely mechanics, after meeting Cyan on the La Vie En Rose, she took an immediate liking to him and the two have been reunited now that Chris has decided to join the AEUG's cause against the Titans.

Miss Farrah Maeru is a newly orphaned 15-year-old Newtype girl who became Char's new protege, originally under the belief that she could be nothing but a useful tool. Her mind changed, however, after a chance meeting with another young Newtype, and now she remains at Char's side only to use him for her own gain as much as he is using her.

First Lieutenant Ashley Russel was the Yellows' explosives expert and was killed in the attack on Konpei Island.

First Lieutenant Felicia Brooks - The scouting and recon expert for the Yellow Team. After the attack on Konpei Island, she went into a catatonic state and was sent home.

Lieutenant Jarod Washburn - The ammunitions expert for the former Yellow Team. He is slightly cocky if only to cover up for his insecurities, but a fairly nice guy anyway. Lost a leg in a battle with the Titans and was sent home.

Gunners Mate First Class Mercredi Lacombe left the First Squad to remain in the EFSF when the others went to the AEUG.
